CHAPTERS
In coming up with an architecture for this tome, I am going to be brainstorming a bit. Topics I am thinking of including are:
GIGS. How to get one in the biz. Where to start. What to avoid.
FLATS. Where to look for living accomodations. The market. Finding a roomie.
FRIENDS. Networking.
SHOOT OR DIE. Using internet shorts to practice your craft.
THE GREAT WEST WAY. Theater companies - another breeding ground to cultivate your skills.
other topics.
finally - WHEN ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. The fallback plan.

They say you can get a book deal by zealously blogging your life experience. Well, after 15 years of banging my head against the wall of the entertainment Gate Keepers here in Hollywood, I figured I may as well give it a try.
Every year, over 9,000 people come to the Entertainment Mecca of the world to get discovered and make it big. They are long on dreams, and short on what it takes to actually stay here.
Thus, WELCOME TO HOLLYWOOD ... now go HOME.
Stay tuned for my experiences, what I think works, and what I know DOESN'T. And where to do nuts and bolts things like getting a showbiz job, or even a roomate. Practical stuff which may keep you around longer than when your savings runs out.
